It’s A Given
That with all the technology in the world, every photo of “Big Foot” is still blurry!

The Cheer On
Just because you have a favorite football team doesn’t mean that your team has your favorite football cheerleaders. Everyone has the rite to their
opinion and well since this is my article, in my opinion the Los Angeles Chargers girls are looking, well very charging this year. The Charger Girls perform a variety of dance routines during home games. The squad was founded in 1990, and is managed by e2k Event and Entertainment, which also manages the LA Clippers, Sacramento Kings, and the San Fran 49ers Gold Rush dance teams. Members serve as ambassadors for the Chargers. The group releases an annual swimsuit calendar (OMG). The group also has a Junior Charger Girls squad, with each performer being required to raise $175 in sponsor funds, with the funds going straight to the Make A Wish Foundation and Chargers Community Foundation. Watch This
Samsung is considered to be the number one TV maker in the world with LG rite on it’s tale. Samsung recently released the Q9FN QLED (and nobody
knows what that stands for) at the beginning of 2018. Producing a whole line of Q’s that boast a new quantum dot technology said to improve
light output and color performance. Some of the differences over the past year is that the Q series are not curved but flat. Q Uses the edge-lit local dimming technology which in many tests shows to be inferior to the full array local dimming found on many other high end LCDs. All the Q sets use Samsung’s One Connect box to the house with one nearly invisible wire. The Connect Box can be stored in a hidden area and can sync with almost any device and using Bixby as well. At the end of the day beauty is in the wallet of the beholder, so if you’ve got around 4 thousand to splurge this would be the way to enter the newest technology in TV land.

Don’t Flute Your Own Horn
If you were to ask me what I thought would be the oldest recorded instrument in the world would be, my first choice would be a drum. Well to my surprise and research, not even close. India has one of the oldest musical traditions in the world and the Divje Babe flute, carved from bear femur is
thought to be at least 41,000 years old which opens up an entirely different category. We are dating ourselves in the “Prehistoric” music category, one of several terms used in the history of music. Followed by “Ancient” before 500 AD, “Early” 500-1760, “Common Practice” 1600-1910 and
then there’s “Modern” 1890-present. Many of the early wind instruments where made of mostly bone from all sorts of animals (I’m sure after a good eating). The largest collection of “Prehistoric” instruments has been made from China.

William Walter “Pudge” Heffelfinger
1869 Rutgers and Princeton played a college soccer football game, the first ever. The game used modified London Football Association rules. During the next sevenyears, rugby gained favor with the major eastern schools over soccer, and modern football began to develop from rugby.
Pudge was the first American football player and coach and is considered the first athlete to play football professionally, having been paid to play in 1892. At 6’3 and 195lbs Heffelfinger, was a three-time All American playing for Yale. The Yale team was not only undefeated and untied, but unscored upon, with a season scoring record of 698 to 0 Heffelfinger took his first head football coaching job with the University of California for the 1893
football season and was the third person to be assigned to the post. His team achieved a record of 5 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie. As far as we’re concerned, Pudge was and still is the real pioneer of what football is all about today.

Oktoberfest
The 16-day celebration in Munich, dates back to 1810 at the wedding of King Ludwig and Princess Therese of Saxe-Hildburghausen. On the same Theresienwiese fields that hosted those celebrations, Munich welcomes millions of visitors to its giant gala event. Meanwhile, an event on the south end of the grounds has a museum-like atmosphere more akin Oktoberfest’s earliest days. At the core of the event is a vast sea of beer produced by six
Munich brewers: Spaten, Löwenbräu, Augustiner-Bräu, Hofbräu-München, Paulaner and Hacker-Pschorr. Their “Munich beer” was once an amber-bodied, sweet Märzen, brewed in March and lagered until the festival’s kickoff. That’s the beer that U.S. craft brewers emulate with their “Oktoberfest” and “Festbier” offerings, but it hasn’t been the Oktoberfest’s official beer in decades. Instead, the more recent of Märzen is lighter in color and slightly more bitter. The balanced lager, commonly referred to as Wiesn is still brewed according to the Reinheitsgebot beer purity law. Written 500 years ago to regulate the use of barley, the Reinheitsgebot limits the ingredients a brewery can use in beer to hops, malted barley, water and yeast. Yeast was a late addition and both rye (used in brown spirits as well) and wheat managed to be snuck into the mix. At the end of the day like any other spirit, personal preference is what it all comes down to.
